Jane.com Review: The Best on the Web for the Very Best Price

February 17, 2015 · by Tiffany Merritt · 2 Comments

Complimentary products sent for this Jane.com review, and affiliate links included. I am a frequent Jane.com shopper and only promote what I love.

One of the things I have been doing this year to get a bit of my time and my sanity back is unsubscribing from email newsletters. I try to pay attention to what I’m reading and what I no longer seem to be interested in, and take just a few seconds to remove myself from the emails I’m no longer reading.

But one email I most  definitely want to keep receiving is the one from Jane.com. Do you get this awesome daily email? If not, let me tell you why it deserves a spot in your inbox. Jane.com is a site that gathers together flash sales on an impressive array of clothing, accessories, home decor and children’s items every single day. The sales last for a few days, or until inventory runs out (whichever happens first!). I have personally purchased quite a few items from Jane.com over the last year or so, and their items show up on the blog quite frequently, as well, when I spy a deal too good to pass up. I have purchased countless birthday and Christmas gifts on the site, as well as little treats here and there for myself!

Here are a few examples of my latest finds. All of these items were spotted on the exact same day on Jane.com!

Barnwood State Sign

jane.com wooden state art piece

I absolutely LOVE these! I snapped up the state of Tennessee because I thought it would make a great conversation piece for my husband’s office. The fact that it is fashioned out of reclaimed barn wood makes it extra awesome. The price ($39.99) for something this unique and handmade was fantastic, too! And for a size point of reference, it’s almost 4 feet long, so it’s quite large! 🙂

Valentine’s Day Wreath

jane.com handmade valentine's day wreath

This might be the type of thing that a very crafty person could put together on their own. But you see, I have ZERO crafty skills, so I was really thrilled to see this up for grabs for a reasonable price ($23.99). My oldest was also asking for some type of Valentine’s Day decorations, and this was the perfect option for our home. And while Valentine’s Day is now over, I spotted 2 different Easter door decorations up for grabs right now on the site. The selection changes daily, so hop on over! 😉

Personalized Door Mat

jane.com personalized door mat

Finally, when I saw the personalized door mat option, I decided to go for something I have been wanting for a long time. My husband and I actually have different last names, but since they both start with the letter “M” we actually call our family and our home, “the House of M.” I asked if I could get that on a door mat, and it was no problem at all! Yay! Also? It was only $20!

What’s so amazing about Jane.com is that on any given day, you can find several different things that might be perfect gifts for loved ones in your life, or perfect additions to your own home. I love that I was able to do a bit of updating to my front door area and get some meaningful art work for my husband’s new office all at once and for really reasonable prices. Take a peek and get signed up for their emails. It won’t be long at all before you find a treasure you’ve been seeking, I promise!

What have you found on Jane.com that you love???

February 6, 2014 · by Tiffany Merritt · Leave a Comment

Affiliate links included. I only promote what I love!

My gift closet is looking a little puny after the holidays, and I also haven’t purchased anything for Valentine’s Day yet. Time to pick up a few fun finds, and of course, all on sale! Here’s what’s especially hot today, friends!

Gymboree just put the ENTIRE STORE on sale (30% off!). Get a jump start on swimwear or other cute spring finds. You also get free shipping if you spend $75 or more. No coupon needed for either deal! 30% off Entire Purchase at Gymboree

Here’s what I’m scooping up before we hit the beach! Chevron adorableness!

Julep, makers of beautiful, eco-friendly nail polish, have one of their best deals EVER happening right now! You can get your first monthly box from Julep 100% FREE! And if you don’t love it (and you will love it…) then you can just cancel. If you haven’t tried Julep yet, THIS is the time to do it…when it’s FREE!!!! I personally have about 9 Julep polishes in my collection, and I love them all!

Julep Maven Subscription - first box free

Until 2/8, One King’s Lane is having a Melissa & Doug Sale. It’s a great time to get one or two items for birthday parties you’ll be headed to sometime this year! But the thing that really caught my eye was that the tiger is on sale! We own this, and it is one of the very most played with items in our entire house! I HIGHLY recommend it! 🙂

One of my very favorite shopping sites, Jane, has a SWEET deal on a statement necklace today, and I’m thinking of treating myself!

jane necklace sale

How’s $3.99 sound for the price?! Which do you think I should get, the round or the teardrop? I can’t decide. So I guess that means both? 🙂 Poke around on the site while you are there…I dare you not to find 12 things you want to snap up!

DaySpring currently has a super cute item that would be perfect for a hostess gift! These hurricane candle sleeves are marked all the way down to $9.99 (originally $28!). I simply love them. 🙂

Kiwi Crate, which is one of my favorite gift ideas for kids EVER has two super cool things happening right now.

Creativity kits for kids!

1. You get free shipping on any $25+ order (use code SHIP25). Yay!

2. A referral program! Once you have a Kiwi Crate, refer your friends. If your friend signs up, they get a $10 credit, and YOU also get a $10 credit. Talk about a win/win! Definitely check that out so that you can earn some credit to the store and hopefully get your next box totally free! I love free, don’t you? 🙂

Sittercity: Need a babysitter so you can actually go on a date once in a while? My family has personal experience using Sittercity (it was a very positive experience, of course!). I highly recommend it to others as a great way of finding vetted sitters. And this month, a 3 month membership is 30% off! Woo hoo!

Friday Finds: See What I’m Scooping Up on Sale Today!

September 6, 2013 · by Tiffany Merritt · 4 Comments

Happy Fridady, friends! Friday is my favorite day of the week for online shopping. Many of my favorite sites seem to offer some of their best deals on this particular day. I love sharing my favorite finds with you so that you can score great deals, too! Here are the things I’m either mulling over, or that I’ve already purchased (yes, I went shopping this morning well before the sun came out!).  Affiliate links may be included, where relevant. I only recommend products I adore, as always!

Jewel Scent

jewel scent ring in soap

You are familiar with this concept of jewelry being hidden in candles, yes? I’ve actually got a Diamond Candles review coming out next week. Darah reacted with such tremendous glee to the ring in the candle that now I’m seriously contemplating getting this product for my oldest nieces. Jewel Scent offers not only candles, but also bars of soap…that’s perfect for a little girl, I think! What a fun gift…clean your way to bling! Ha ha! The soap is $15, which makes it a great price point for a holiday or birthday gift. The ring itself can be worth anywhere from $10-$7,500!

Vinyl Chalkboard Reusable Stickers

vinyl chalkboard stickers

These can be used anywhere, and you can write anything on them. What a fun and easy way to dress up your home for various occasions! And the price is right at $5.99! Click on the picture to check it out! And don’t miss all the other adorable daily deals on Very Jane, which is one of my very favorite places online to shop!

My Cents of Style CLEARANCE!!!

There’s an AWESOME sale going on today at My Cents of Style. You can use coupon code CLEARANCE to take an additional 10% off anything that is in the Fashion Friday category, and all that stuff is already on MEGA sale!!! AND…with any purchase from that category today, you will receive a free item (bangle bracelet set is what I scored, and once those are gone, they will be offering pretty gem earrings). Remember that shipping is always free on the site, too! Here’s what I just purchased for $12.51 total (click on the photos to see them on the My Cents of Style website)!

Polka Dot Infinity Scarf ($6.25 shipped with coupon!)

Geometric bracelet ($6.25 shipped with coupon!)

Bangle Bracelets (FREE with any purchase!!!)

I’ve mentioned the Stars & Stripes flag scarf before, but it bears repeating. Mine just came in the mail and I wanted you to see how cute it is! Also…you can pay $65.00 for a scarf that looks like this (Ralph Lauren) OR you can pay $9.99 for the one I’m wearing. Free shipping, too! Just use code FALLSCARF to get the great low price. Also, I wanted to let you know that My Cents of Style is donating $1 from every stars & stripes scarf sale to Final Salute, a nonprofit organization committed to helping veterans find stable housing solutions (this is a cause Tim worked on for 2 years when he was first out of college, so I’m super excited to see it being selected by My Cents of Style as a worthwhile cause!).

And now for a few deals I’m contemplating. I’d love feedback from anyone who has tried these services!

1. Citrus Lane

citrus lane

This is a subscription services for newborns-age 3, with the boxes customized based on your baby’s precise age. Subscriptions start at just $21/box, and currently they are offering your first box 50% off with a new monthly subscription by using code HALFOFF. Have any of you ever purchased a Citrus Lane box? Thoughts?

2. Wantable

wantable

This is a box service that you can subscribe to for $36/month, or you can opt out of subscribing and just purchase a box for the month at $40. You can choose a makeup box (full-size, premium brands) or an accessories box. What you pay will be 60% cheaper than buying it retail, and selections are tailored just for you based on your style profile. Pretty fun little pick-me-up, I think. Free shipping both ways! Anyone tried it yet?

And on a more practical note, I just purchased some Buddy Fruits food pouches on Amazon. I got a package of 18 for just $10 with 2 day shipping (I have a prime membership). That makes these about .55/each, which is a good price in my book!

What are you shopping for today? Let me know if you snag any of the deals above, or if you find something worthy to be shared!

No doubt about it, stripes are hot this year! I could use a few stripey additions to my fall wardrobe, which is why today’s sale at Cents of Style turned my head. Thought I’d share it with you! Use code STRIPES at checkout to get the hefty discount! And remember, shipping is ALWAYS free! Anything on the Fashion Friday page (linked above) will work with the code, but here are my favorites.

Miriam Scarf: Just $6.98! For real! It has a thin metallic pin strip on the outer edges, and comes in 7 great transitional fall colors. I’m particularly fond of the navy option, myself.

I also wanted to draw your attention to another special deal on the site: use coupon code FALLSCARF to get this Fashionable Stars & Stripes Scarf $9.95 & FREE SHIPPING. Ralph Lauren sells one very similar to it for $60!

Even Very Jane got in on the stripe fun today. Look at these adorable straws for just $2.95 (pack of 25). So many stripes, and other patterns, too!

And while it is totally unrelated to stripes, I just had to share that these fabulous mason jar lids also made it into my shopping cart this morning! $4.99 for a set of 6! Too cute!
