Earlier this week I had a flashback to my oldest rockin’ a bunny costume when she was a young toddler. My heart absolutely melted when I saw the cute picture of her on this blog post, and it got me thinking about how much I enjoyed getting to see my little bunny (that’s her nickname) dressed up like a bunny.
So now I’m thinking about doing it again this Easter, and I thought I’d share my research with you in case you are looking for bunny costumes right about now. I’ve searched high and low and these are the cutest bunny costumes the internet has to offer at the moment (that aren’t CRAZY expensive, that is!). There aren’t as many children’s bunny costumes out there as I was hoping, and I was super surprised by how many of them had cotton tails on top of the head of the costume (I can’t make this stuff up, y’all…it’s weird). So hopefully I can help you weed out the strange stuff (as well as the half a million adult female bunny costumes).
Infants and Young Toddlers
I am totally freaking out over this set which is perfect for the pre-crawler. Dress them only in these pieces for a photo shoot, or combine it with a white or gray onesie and baby legs to go out and about. Available through etsy.
This is the one my sweet little Darah had and it is just too much! Those long, soft ears! Those feet! That cotton tail! Baby needs to be able to sit up unassisted to rock this one. Sizing starts at 6 months.
If you want something in total spring colors, this is definitely the way to go. Look at that gingham! Gaaa!!!! I saw this costume a few different places online, but Amazon has the best price.
Kids
For the older girl, I think this wacky take on a cartoon favorite is the way to go. There’s no bunny more awesome than Bugs Bunny, after all! Available at Kohls.
I also like this play on the White Rabbit. This would be so cute paired with a rabbit nose piece!
