I have been SO excited to share this because I think the bargains I found at SophiasStyle.com were amazing! Wait until you see how much adorable stuff I got for $50! More on that later.

For now, I want to tell you more about the company. SophiasStyle.com is a family owned company with the goal of providing whimsical and fun outfits for little boys and girls, as well as accessories and little gifts. Looking for a birthday outfit or something perfect for a picture-taking session? This is your spot! I know I am already starting to think about girls christmas dresses (never too early to start!) and I’ve been excited to see they SophiasStyle.com already has a great selection available!

And I haven’t even mentioned the fantastic prices. Sophia’s Style offers discount prices on their trendy, designer pieces. The only drawback to finding these great prices is realizing that their stock moves quickly. I saw many super adorable items that were no longer available in Darah’s current size, so I either had to find alternatives or just buy ahead for next year. In many cases, I decided to just buy ahead. The prices were too good not to snatch up, even if I have to wait a while for Darah to be able to wear them!

Cuteheads Clothing (Made in the USA!) Review and Outfit GIVEAWAY!!!

We have selected Montessori education as the path for our little ones from the toddler years all the way through kindergarten. We love the philosophy behind it, and we appreciate the emphasis that is placed on independence. This was not something emphasized in my home growing up, and even as an adult I find myself too quick, sometimes, to rely on help from others rather than trying to solve a problem myself. I want Darah and Layah to be confident about their own abilities to solve problems and to take care of themselves.

Today I’m featuring a new clothing company called Cuteheads (products made in the USA!) that emphasizes allowing children to dress themselves. The clothes are easy to take on and off and can mix and match easily with one another to create multiple outfit combinations that kids will love and that moms and dads will approve!

Darah is really enjoying the Forget Me Not dress in Lavender (ARV $36). It is sized generously which means that it is quite easy for her to get on all by herself. It also means that she’ll probably still fit into it even after she outgrows most of her other 3T items. That’s a plus for me!

In addition to selecting her own hair bows (hey, why have just one when you can have two?!), she also identified the matching Little Legs leggings in lavender (ARV $16) in her pants drawer and made the match herself. High five, Darah!

Darah has been pairing both the dress and the pants with other items in her wardrobe, as well. The pieces are popular with her because she likes the colors, but more importantly, because they are comfortable and she knows she can get them on all by herself.

Make a Statement with Poli-Baby Onesies: GIVEAWAY!!

Every single time I go to the gym (which is the only time I watch live television), I am bombarded with campaign commercials. In case you are living under a rock, it’s a presidential election year, which means that voters are paying closer attention to what is happening in politics and are getting ready to voice their opinions with their votes.

Don’t let your little one be left out of the discourse! Poli-Baby is a site created by siblings Sarah and David that offers onesies with political messages, though perhaps the specific messages have more to do with the world of babies than the world of American politics.

I appreciate the dose of humor, as politics in America can be, well, just so infuriating! The economy is in the toilet, for example, but at least I can smile at Layah’s cute onesie that states “It’s a Teddy Bear Market.”

And I really love the National Rattle Association onesie, too! I also love that this company uses onesies that are made in America, and eco-friendly water based inks.

We all have different political views, and even though certain viewpoints make absolutely no sense to me, I celebrate the fact that we are each entitled to them. That’s part of what makes America such a great place. We have the freedom to believe what makes sense to us, and to engage each other in discussion in an attempt to find some compromise.

Let your baby start to take part in the conversation, even if it starts with reforming day care instead of health care. Gotta start somewhere!
