I have recently come to a depressing realization: I haven’t had a true vacation (meaning something OTHER than visiting friends and family) since 2008.
Let that sink in for a minute, people. 2008!!!!! For those of you who believe that we are still living in the 90s (I fully admit to that being the decade I’ll be stuck in forever), I wish to inform you that 2008 was 4 years ago.
No wonder I’m so dang burnt out these days. I’ve given myself no opportunities for true rejuvination. Must fix this problem ASAP!
