I always find myself looking for cupcake decorating ideas a few times each year (usually for birthdays and special school events for the kids). Pinterest has no shortage of photos and tutorials of beautifully decorated cupcakes, to be sure. But here’s the thing: I need ideas that look cute and that require very minimal time, skills and special equipment. So that knocks out about 95% of the options I see! For my future reference, and for yours, I have come up with a list of 16 EASY cupcake decorating ideas. I hope these help you out when you are looking for some practical ideas!

Decorating Cupcake Ideas: Try a Sleeve!

Even though Darah isn’t even in preschool yet, I already feel the shame that comes along with being the un-crafty mom. I swear, Darah’s daycare program, that only meets twice a week, has a party every single month. For real. There’s always a party happening, and when a party is happening, parents are asked to bring, “goodies.” GROAN! I’m just not the mom who is going to make something really cute and fun. But it seems I’m the only one in this boat. Darah has come home with some really cute stuff. And I know I’m long overdue to reciprocate.
