I know there are some places in the country where school is just not getting out, but my school-aged child has been out for a month, now. We have been keeping cabin fever at bay by planning EASY crafts, taking advantage of fun little notions at the dollar store (puzzles, hoola hoops, etc.) and by making sure we do a little bit of traveling to experience the fun to be had in our neighboring big cities.

For us, that means heading down to Atlanta every few weeks, and one of our favorite finds has been The Georgia Aquarium.
