On the Joys of Snagging 8 Free Rolls of Toilet Paper (and How to Replicate!)

June 17, 2014 · by Tiffany Merritt · Leave a Comment

So White Cloud, a family of premium products that includes bath tissue, facial tissue and paper towels, recently did something SO smart when they launched the “Free 4 All” campaign: they showed me, a consumer, how I could snag 4 free rolls of toilet paper at any point in time without waiting for a sale or coupons.

It turns out that their Ultra Strong & Soft bath tissues (2 ply), as well as their Ultra Soft & Thick bath tissues (3 ply) are both available in 16 count packages for the same price as the retail offerings for Cottonelle and Quilted Northern, only for the same price you only get 12 rolls with those brands.

So there you have it: 4 free rolls just waiting for you on the shelves at your nearest Walmart, where White Cloud is being sold (find your nearest retailer by using the Store Locator).

But I’m not talking about 4 free rolls today, friends. I’m talking about 8 free rolls! If you Like White Cloud on Facebook, you will discover a Coupon on Facebook that is pretty darn sweet! All you have to do is share it with your friends via Facebook or Twitter, and you will get a coupon for 4 free rolls of White Cloud bath tissue with any White Cloud purchase*. If you aren’t into sharing awesome deals, that’s cool…you can still get a $1 off coupon through their Facebook page. But seriously…share the love, people!

Yesterday I hopped online and shared the coupon with my Twitter peeps (are you following me there?) and then headed over to Walmart to pick up some groceries, and of course, get stocked up on toilet paper. I found the White Cloud section and decided to try both of their bath tissue types, and I bought a 16 count of the Ultra Strong & Soft and a 4 count of the Ultra Soft & Thick. The Ultra Strong & Soft (2 Ply) is stronger and softer than ever, which means that you can use less, and that means that your rolls will last longer! And as for the 3-Ply, its softness and thickness has been improved, and you’ll find a new quilted pattern that gives it a premium look and feel.

 photo whitecloudatWalmart_zpsdf2a5630.jpg

So basically, I paid $7 for the tissue you see below to the left, and I paid $0 for the tissue you see to the right. All of this was thanks to 1 coupon and to this brand’s value. Woo hoo! Be sure to print your coupon via Facebook today and go get all your free bath tissue. Even if you aren’t really into coupons, this one is too easy and too good of a deal to pass up!

The Dirtier the Clothes, the Bigger the Memories ($2 off Coupon)

What was the messiest activity you loved to do as a child? For me, it was making muddy acorns, which is a spin off of making mud pies. We had a large outdoor brick fireplace in our backyard, and it served as a kitchen. We also had a giant oak tree that produced thousands of acorns each year. I would get clay from under the house (I grew up in Alabama, where red clay was plentiful) and some dirt from the back yard, and I'd also get a bowl of water from the house. Then I'd gather up all the acorns I could hold, wash them one by one in the water, and then dredge them in the clay, followed by the dirt. I truly believed I was making gourmet acorns.

Poor squirrels.

But I'm sure they were able to undo my work easily enough, and I sure did have a lot of fun "cooking" in the backyard. I'm sure my parents didn't have quite as much fun when it was time to do the laundry, though. Dirt AND clay? Yikes!

White Cloud knows that as parents we are dealing with some really tough stains, though they also believe that, "The dirtier the clothes, the bigger the memory!" Their laundry care line has just realeased a new formula of products with 3-in-1 Micro Clean Technology that is enzyme-based to help attack even the toughest stains. If you Like White Cloud on Facebook, you'll likely find a high value coupon there to try the product (they have a limited quantity, so you'd better hurry!). The $2 off coupon is available if you share information about the coupon to others on Facebook or Twitter. If you'd rather not do that, you can still print a $1 off coupon. Limit one coupon per purchase on product specified. No cash back if coupon value is higher than purchase price. Void if reproduced, transferred, used to purchase products for resale, or where prohibited/regulated by law. Not valid on trial size. Consumer pays sales tax. Redeemable at participating retail stores. Valid only in the U.S.

White Cloud Laundry Care comes in Blooming Lavender, Summer Breeze and Tropica Fiesta. I've been craving warmer weather lately, so I personally would go for Summer Fiesta. Check out the Store Locator to see wher eyou can find the product for yourself. They are available at Walmart, and that's where I always find them. It's available in box liquid and powder form, in 100 and 150-ounce sizes.

And don't forget to Follow White Cloud on Twitter and Follow White Cloud on Pinterest to get more great ideas, tips, and savings notifications.

How I Tackle Back to School Shopping

July 19, 2013 · by Tiffany Merritt · 5 Comments

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of White Cloud for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

As I mentioned earlier this week in my girls backpack post, it is time to start getting serious about back-to-school shopping. You may be scratching your head at this idea, as depending on where you live, school may not be starting back for another month or even more. We are 30 days, exactly, from the first day of school for Darah. While I technically could go get all the supplies she needs the week before school (or maybe even the day before…her list is still relatively short since she’s in preschool), that is not my strategy.

My strategy is to shop the sales for the entire month leading up to the first day of school. I do this because every single week from now until then there are some great items at a fantastic price. But the entire list of things I need is never on sale at one time. But by watching the sales for the next month, I should be able to pick up almost everything I need at a hefty discount. And that leaves more money in my budget to cover things like another pair of shoes or some new clothes for the school year.

One of the things on my shopping list is White Cloud Facial Tissue. I love that you can buy it in multipacks (3 or 6). This is great for those of you who have more than one going to school. That isn’t the case for us, but I happily send along some extra tissue for the classroom. I’m not in a position to make large financial gifts to Darah’s school, but I can help out by picking up some extra supplies at a good price.

Have you ever tried White Cloud tissues? They are a brand carried exclusively at Walmart (check out the White Cloud Store Locator to fin your nearest location, as they are only available in select markets). They are an outstanding value because they are priced with the budget conscious shopper in mind, yet they feel so soft, like a more expensive brand.

I also love that when you purchase this product, you can also support the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals by purchasing the limited edition White Cloud CMN Facial Tissue boxes. Why not help a great cause while taking care of things on your shopping list AND getting a great deal? Win-win-win!

Speaking of getting a great deal, there’s going to be a coupon in the July 28th Sunday paper. You can also visit mywhitecloud.com/school-supply-list/ and get a coupon so you can check this product off your shopping list right now! Additionally, you can also find the coupon in several magazines out this month, including Better Homes & Gardens (be sure to wave at me, as you’ll find me in there, too!).

And to really stay on top of the savings opportunities with White Cloud, be sure to follow them on their social media outlets, including the White Cloud Facebook Page, White Cloud Twitter Page, and the White Cloud Pinterest Page.

So what’s your back-to-school shopping strategy? Do you have to buy tissue for your classroom? Ever tried White Cloud?

White Cloud Introduces the GreenEarth Line (Sweepstakes Announcement!)

April 7, 2013 · by Tiffany Merritt · Leave a Comment

This post brought to you by White Cloud. All opinions are 100% mine.

I'm a big fan of going green, especially when making the switch to something more eco-friendly doesn't present a hardship to my budget.

That's why I'm absolutely thrilled to hear that White Cloud, a paper products company sold exclusively at Walmart, has just launched the GreenEarth line. All the GreenEarth products are made with 100% recycled fibers and have been ceritified by the Forest Stewardship Council. Be sure to check out the White Cloud GreenEarth products page for all the details on this new line.

I'll be headed to Walmart tomorrow, actually, and I have these products at the top of my list (I need to buy new toilet paper since 2 weeks ago I accidentally purchased single ply stuff…it has been NO fun trying to use that stuff up!). White Cloud is a brand I already know to be affordable and to also be quality, and now they can add eco-friendly to the mix. That's the perfect trifecta for me! Click here to Find a Store Near You!

Since April is the perfect time of year to think about how your family can go green, I thought I'd share with you a few ways we reduce, reuse and recyle around here, all without overly burdening ourselves or our pocketbooks.

1. Switch to recycled and recyclable disposable products. We use mostly cloth diapers, but I'm not interested in giving up my toilet paper, personally. But I can make the switch over to more environmentally responsible choices with ease thanks to White Cloud's GreenEarth line.

2. Recycle your food containers. We go through a LOT of cardboard boxes, aluminum cans and plastic containers, all of which held food we purchased. Almost all of them are recyclable. Get a large plastic tub to hold your recyclables while you wait for the next curbside pickup or while you wait until you next head over to the recycling center. Committing to doing this only takes a few extra minutes every few days. We've been doing this in earnest for the last 6 years, and while it requires dedicating some additional space in your home or in your garage to garbage collection, it has substantially reduced the amount of trash we are putting in landfills.

3. Talk about the changes you are making with your kids. You are already setting a great example by your actions, but make sure your kids really understand the impact of your decisions by explaining it to them. This will also help them get more excited about what you are committing to as a family. Our oldest goes out with dad to transfer our recylables to our larger bin outside, and she LOVES to watch the recycling truck pick up our items every other week. It is so important for the next generation to have environmental stewardship engrained in them at a young age, as that increases the likelihood that they will continue (and hopefully improve upon) the practices as an adult.

In addition to sharing about the ways my family is going green, I also wanted to share something I know you love: a great sweepstakes! Check out the White Cloud “Living the Green” Pinterest board and then follow the White Cloud Pinterest page. Then you just need to create yhour own "Living the Green" Pinterest board and repin at least one pin from the White Cloud "Living the Green" board back onto your board. Be sure to use the hashtag #Livingthegreen in your pin's caption so that White Cloud can find you! Finally, you'll visit mywhitecloud.com/promotions and complte the sweepstakes entry form. White Cloud and Children’s Miracle Network: Teaming Up to Change Lives

January 16, 2013 · by Tiffany Merritt · Leave a Comment

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of White Cloud for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of my favorite toilet paper brands is White Cloud. Have you ever tried it? I find it to be really soft and also really affordable. That's the winning combination for me!

But my post today isn't about how great White Cloud toilet paper is. It's about what a great thing the White Cloud company is doing and how you can join in with their efforts.Photobucket

White Cloud has teamed up with Children's Miracle Network, which has 168 children's hospitals all over the United States. They solicited drawings from the children in the hospitals and have narrowed down submissions to 10 inspiring drawings. Now they need the public to vote for the drawing that they most want to see on a limited edition White Cloud facial tissues box. The winning drawing will be on boxes sold exclusively at Walmart stores starting in May. And White Cloud will be making a generous donation to each Children's Miracle Network hospital with winning designs. Isn't that awesome? These hospitals are taking care of our little ones and while I haven't yet had to take my child to a children's hospital, I know the day could very easily come. So I'm happy to see them getting lots of financial support so that they can keep doing what they are doing!

Voters in the contest also have the chance to win. There willb e 3 drawings for a $25 Walmart gift card throughout the voting period (woo hoo!) and at the end of the voting period, 3 grand prize winners will be selected and will receive a one-year supply of White Cloud products.

So how do you enter? Simply Like White Cloud on Facebook and then check out the Voting App. Remember that you can get an additional entry by sharing the sweepstakes with your friends.

In the meantime, if you do want to try out that fabulously soft White Cloud tissue, you can Find a store near you!. Good luck with the giveaway!

Abbreviated rules: No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. The Children’s Miracle Network Contest and Sweepstakes are sponsored by Kruger Products (USA), Inc. The Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, between the ages of 4 and 14, who are eligible patients at one of the 168 participating Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
