Six Flags Over Georgia is kicking off the 2014 season in just 10 days. I CANNOT WAIT to get back down there! I’ll actually be headed down on the 22nd to take a peek at how the most anticipated addition, Hurricane Harbor, is coming along. Here’s a recent pic that went up on the Six Flags Over Georgia Facebook page of some installations happening right now:
While Hurricane Harbor won’t be open in 10 days, there will be PLENTY to see and do. The park has 14 thrill rides like the Georgia Scorcher, Dare Devil Dive and BATMAN. The SkyScreamer, which was new last year, is the tallest ride in the park (and #1 on my list of rides to go on when I get there in a few weeks, as the view of the Atlanta skyline is supposed to be AWESOME!).
Additionally, you’ll find more than 21 family-friendly attractions at Six Flags Over Georgia, including favorites like Monster Mansion and Thunder River. There are also interactive areas designed with toddlers and preschoolers in mind. I also really appreciate that Six Flags Over Georgia has more than 15 healthy menu options, as well as a line of gluten-free offerings. There’s something for everyone!
Make a Trip to Six Flags A Bargain
The best way to get get maximum value at Six Flags Over Georgia is to get a Season Pass. You’ll get unlimited admission in 2014, including to Hurricane Harbor and to Fright Fest in the fall. You’ll also get to enjoy special “bring-a-friend-for-free” days, exclusive ride time events and unlimited admission to all over Six Flags theme parks, should you be planning to travel to other parts of the country this year.
So, see you there???
