American Greeting eCards: Fast, Fun, and Memorable!

March 31, 2014 · by Tiffany Merritt · Leave a Comment

This post brought to you by eCards from American Greetings. All opinions are 100% mine.

My girls really love to get greeting cards, ESPECIALLY the ones that make music. They listen to them over and over again, pretty much until they wear them out (or until the toddler breaks them, whichever happens first).

But I've figured out a solution to the problem of cards that wear out or break: switching to eCards! eCards have been around since I was in college (I thought they were SO cool then and loved to send them) and I can tell you that they have come a really long way since then. I've been checking out American Greetings eCard membership program. The 2 year membership is the best value at just $29.99. They also have a 1 year membership for $19.99 or a 1 month membership for $3.99. Additionally, they offer a FREE 7-day trial so you can check out all the offerings, send out a few cards, and see if it if the right fit for your needs.

For my family, it definitely makes sense. I've already picked out cards to send to the girls for Easter. Many of the cards play really cute songs and have fun animations. There is even a way to add a voice recording of your own to make it even more personalized. That's definitely one of my favorite features, and something I'd especially love to use when I'm sending cards to my 7 nieces who live all over the world and who I don't get to talk to as often as I'd like. American Greetings gives me a way to send a message from the heart (and in my own words AND my own voice!). And bonus? I can send adorable puppies in an Easter basket without angering the parents. 🙂

If you are sending a card to someone with a relatively popular name, you can also opt for these really fun personalized video cards where characters sing and include the recipient's name as well as the sender's name in the card. My girls have unusual names, but I was able to put one together for Tim. I'll definitely be using it for his Birthday.

Finally, I really like that you can attach a gift card to your American Greetings eCards and take care of the gift and the message all in one place. Amazon gift cards are an option, and that's a place that pretty much takes care of everyone on your list! 🙂

eCards from American greetings are a wonderful way to stay connected with loved ones all over the world, and they offer a more personalized touch than a quick note on someone's Fcebook wall. Oh, and speaking of Facebook, you can actually have your cards sent directly to the recipient's Facebook account if that's the primary way you connect with them. I love that!

Are you ready to Make your American Greetings eCard now? Remember, the 7 day trial is totally free, and with your membership, you can schedule cards to go out up to a year in advance. Imagine having Christmas cards ready by Memorial Day! It's totally possible! Click here to Learn more.
