One of the things you learn as a new parent is that fevers can be extremely dangerous for little ones, especially those under 1 year of age. It is important to be mindful of any time there is a noticeable rise in your baby’s temperature, and to get an accurate reading of their temp if you are ever worried.

I currently take temps using a digital thermometer. It’s hard to get an accurate reading whne my daughter is sick because she doesnt sit still for very long. I would love to win this, it would make taking temps alot easier.

Right now we have a digital ear thermometer…It’s about 8 years or more old so it takes a minute to work….anything invasive when you have a sick child doesnt work too well
We use a digital thermometer, but it’s hard to get our toddler to keep it under his tongue, and hold still long enough to get an accurate reading.

Our ear thermometer broke so we’ve been doing oral and they aren’t that accurate with my kids.
We just have a plain digital one…this would be great.

we have an old under the tongue thermometer and it does not go over well or work well. most of the time we do the “you feel warm” technique because it is more accurate. 🙁

I currently have several thermometers–an electronic oral, an temporal arterial electronic one, and a glass oral one. I use them fairly interchangeably, with the arterial one probably being used the most. They all seem to work equally well.
Right now we have an ear thermometer. It works fine, but I hate changing the covers constantly when trying to take everyone’s temperature. Also, last time I ran out, I had a really hard time finding replacement covers and ended up having to order them online, which was really annoying.
We’re currently using a pretty traditional digital thermometer and I don’t know how accurate it is with a wiggly protesting 3-year old!

I so need one of these! We take temps under the arm. Levi is generally pretty good about it, but the last time Sophia was sick I absolutely could not get her temperature! It was awful.
We currently use a thermometer that you slowly move across the forehead to get a temp. I honestly am not sure how accurate it is, but my husband believes it is. I can usually tell better if my kids have a fever by feeling their foreheads or backs myself. Thankfully my kids rarely have a fever, but it would be fantastic to have a good way to read their temperature accurately when they do!

I currently take my temperature through a thermometer that I stick under my tongue and it speaks outloud to me and tells me my temperature.
I use a cheap digital thermometer. I guess it works ok, but sometimes I wonder if it is really accurate.

We have an ear Thermometer and its okay. It takes about 3 tries to get an aprox. reading.
All I have is the rectal thermometer for the baby for us adults & older kids in the house we just touch the wrist to the forehead & say hot or not 🙂 The baby is getting older so thankfully I haven’t had to take his temp in a while. We could really use thus in my house.

We had been using an oral thermometer for the older kids and adults. Now that we have another baby in the house, our current thermometer isn’t working for us!

I have a regular thermometer that we put under the arm in our house the kids hate it and we wanted to find a new solution to this problem. I had a pacifier one but the baby decided she don’t like paci’s anymore 🙁 We need a new way to accurately take the kids temps!

I rarely have to take a temp, but when I do I use an underarm thermometer or an ear thermometer. I don’t know if either are very accurate.

We can’t take temps right now. We had a cheap (10$ walmart one) temple one that broke, just gives an error code now. We have my daughters rectal temo from when she was born but shes almost 3 now and my son is 5 so they wouldn’t like that very much lol.
Regular mouth thermometer and it works when my daughter actually allows me to put it in her mouth, most times she doesn’t.

This product sounds amazing!! The girls are two and I test them under their arms, but they HATE it!! It’s so awful to have to pin their arm down and make them sit with you for nearly two minutes while it reads.

We’re generally pretty healthy and don’t have to take temperatures often, but we have a thermometer my husband and I put under our tongue, and another that we use rectally for the babies…. might take it more frequently with a great, easy thermometer like this.

Currently my twins are so small I usually do rectally, my second method which is not as accurate is the temple, all three hate sitting still for this one.
