Do you ever get really obsessed with one particular thing that you want to improve in our house? I do from time to time, and I find myself spending hours searching the web for solutions to whatever problem we might be having with our house (sometimes the problem is real, and sometimes calling it a “problem” all just depends on your perspective).


One thing that recently caught my attention (and not in a good way) is a light that we have in our inside entryway. It looks like a lamp post, and to me, it is strange to put something that looks like a lamp post inside (maybe I’m in the minority on this one? Thoughts?). Anyway, I did stumble upon some really beautiful (and much more appropriate-looking) wall sconces, and you’ll never guess where I found them…through CSN Stores, the online shopping mega-store (home of over 200 different online stores, remember?!). They have an entire site just for lighting! I think my favorite is this one, which is simple, but updated.

Now that I’ve told you what is on my current wish-list, I want to hear what is on yours! Maybe you are looking for some new lighting for your home, too? Or maybe you aren’t too concerned about the state of your home right now, but sure would love some new summer shoes. I bet whatever it is, you can find it through one of CSN’s stores, for sure!

  75. Hopefully a blog called "Stuff Parents Need" won't be judging what I really, really want from CSN. But just in case you do, let me start out by saying that when my neighbor goes away (and she goes away A LOT), I have to water all her plants. It is in the 90's every day, and yet, just listening to her solar bird bath makes me forget how miserably hot it is. So I would like to get one, too, and maybe feel some serenity at my own home.   297. Wow! CSN Stores has so many great things at great prices; I don’t know where to begin! The Powell Nostalgic Oak Magazine End Table (Item No. 469, SKU No. PW1052; http://www.csnstores.com/Powell-Furniture-469-pw1052.html) would be ideal to help my mother control her clutter. It has four drawers to keep and hide all sorts of things and a magazine rack to organize her reading stuff.
