Every new parent knows that laundry is the source of much stress and anguish. The pile of dirty laundry keeps growing despite your best efforts to throw clothes in the washer on a daily basis. The extra money you are spending on detergents is impacting your grocery budget. The yellow stains (from formula or breast milk) are your arch nemesis, and you are defeated by them constantly. I had no idea how to remove yellow stains like these. It was a mess!
Before Darah was born, we did 2 loads of laundry each week. Oh how I long for those days! Now we do anywhere between 4 and 7 loads of laundry each week for our family of 3. I remember doing a load of baby clothes for the very first time back in August. I was absolutely horrified that Darah’s precious little onesies were coming out of the wash with yellow stains set in them after being worn only once. This was well before the introduction of serious poo or of solid foods, too! Fortunately, my mother-in-law came to visit a week after the birth and she taught me how to make sure that all the stains in our laundry came out
What is her secret? It’s simple….Biz
Biz is a stain fighter that is aavailable in liquid or powder form. It can be applied directly to clothes to pre-treat them, or just added to your load of laundry along with your detergent. It has been around for over 40 years, and now I know why: because IT WORKS.
>How does it work? Well, I can’t get into all the scientific details with you, but the trick isn’t bleach or phosphates, because Biz doesn’t contain either of those. It does contain natural enzymes, though, and that makes it one heck of a stain fighter. Those enzymes break down the proteins that make up all those nasty stains; they basically don’t stand a chance!
2. Add water and clothes to the machine.
Variation: My mother-in-law soaks her clothes in Biz alone, and then adds regular detergent when she starts the washing machine back up. She also has great results with her method. I do it differently because I often forget to add the detergent with this method!
You may think that soaking laundry for 8 hours isn’t practical, and it definitely isn’t for every load. But if you get in the habit of starting a load before you go to bed and finishing it when you wake up, or of starting a load before you head out the door for work and finishing it up when you get home, you’ll find it to be very doable, at least for some of your laundry!
Did you notice that my routine doesn’t include spraying down the stains with something like Shout? That’s because Biz does the work for me; I don’t have to seek out the stains! I have had success with removing blood, butter, sweat, all sorts of baby stains (I think you know what I mean!), food and juice (think raspberry Kool-Aid!). The truth is that since I started using Biz in August, I have not had a single stain set in on our clothes. Not one!!!
I can’t promise you that Biz will remove that year old wine stain from your cashmere sweater, but that’s because I’ve never tried this combo. Here are a few quotes from other satisfied customers who HAVE had success getting out some really old stains:
“I’ve been an antique dealer for as long as Biz has been in existence. I bought some of the ugliest lots of linens that came clean with overnight soaking. Victorian whites were blinding. I had other dealers crying for my ‘secret formula.’ I’ve tried newer products as they come into (and disappeared from) the marketplace, and always return to Biz.”
“I cannot believe what an incredible product BIZ is. My daughter-in-law brought over a box and asked if I could get a formula stain out of a red and white onesie that someone gave her. The stain was over a year old. I made a paste and it lifted the stain. Unbelievable!”
Edit: This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to #250!

I have the toughest time getting grass stains out of my clothes. My method for fighting tough stains is to wash soiled clothes right away.
For stubborn stains and extra dingy clothes.
Step 1 – Apply Biz directly to stain.
Step 2 – Rub in gently. Wait 3-5 minutes. Do NOT allow it to dry on fabric.
Step 3 – Wash as usual with Biz and detergent.

From tips and tricks, I learned this: HE machines allow you to cut the normal dose of Biz powder in half.
I learned from the video that Biz contains enzymes and has been around for 30 years. Sounds like a lot of stains will come out with pre-soaking.
Red stuff. I swear, every time I wear white, something red comes at me from any and all directions. I try stain sticks, soaking in oxygen stuff and staring at it with anger. Nothing works.

The toughtest stains I have to deal with are red mud stains. I usually dont succeed but I prescrub the stains with pure detergent and then wash. Helps some
My trouble stain is pasta sauce. Maybe because the kids like to slurp it though they are told not to. I try to get dish soap on the stains as fast as possible and soak them in cold water.
Chocolate is the worst in my house! (In the form of chocolate milk)
I usually try to catch it right away and soak/scrub it before it sets.

My hubby – bless his heart – likes to restore vintage gokarts. I'm not sure what it is, exactly, that he gets on his shirts. I think it's a combo of grease, dirt and rust. I know it's darn hard to get out. I use a stain spray, but it doesn't come close to getting it all. asthenight at gmail dot com
Sorry, this is gross, but I have a hard time getting sweat stains out of my husband's undershirts. Even bleach won't get those stupid things out!
Definately lipstick, I've spaced out more than once after leaving a tube in my clothing.. washed and dryed it.. not good
for me juice. tomato sauce and grease stains are the worst-I use a spray on remover that doesn't always work
tiramisu392 (at) yahoo.com
I buy lots of vintage dresses from thrift stores and it's so tough to get stains out of polyester! I usually use Shout, but it doesn't always work.

My 4-year-old is SO tough on her clothes. She literally rolls around in bark mulch at her preschool playground and sometimes I can't get the dirt out!
I try to do a pre-soak with stain remover and I use color safe bleach.

For Fast food grease, I presoak clothing in HOT Cider vinegar, when liquid reaches room temp I wash as normal. Works fine.

I bought a brand new knit shirt And the first time I wore had bacon grease pop all over it. Tried using Tide Stick, Spray & wash & no change. By watching the video I learned I can presoak & it will use the enzymes to get rid of it. Biz might be the answer to my prayers.
I have trouble getting any blood stains out. I usually scrub with dish soap first, but it doesnt work great
mustard stains and I throw them away
I think the worst stains for me are grease stains. Those are like the kiss of death!
Bloggytime20 at yahoo dot com
The worst stains are food stains -tomato sauce, mustard, salad dressing. I try the Tide stick but it does not always work.
grass stains-Purchase digestive enzymes from your health food store. You can also find them at your local pharmacy.
Use these as powders or pills, both are fine to use.
Use ground up pills or one teaspoon of the powder and a few drops of water to it. Make a paste from this mixture.
Apply the paste to the grass stain, making sure to cover the entire thing.
Allow it to sit for one hour.
Wash the fabric as you normally would.
Allow it to air dry so that you can insure that the stain was completely removed.

Grease stains are the worst to get out. Currently, I just use spray and wash to get the stains out.
When my husband or son work on cars, the grease and grime are hard to get out of their jeans. I usually spray them with pre-wash and then pour liquid detergent directly on the stain. I then let them sit for a couple of hours before washing them. Doesn't always work though!
I watched the video and learned that you can presoak with Biz to remove grass stains. We have five children, and I can't begin to count the number of pants they have destroyed while playing in the yard!
I keep spilling (because I'm clumsy) sauces on myself, and usually they're the oil-based kind: barbeque, taco, etc.
I pretreat the stains with a dab of Dawn dish soap before the wash. It has rescued a ton of shirts!
All kinds of food, especially fruit, stains since I tend to wipe my hands on my clothes while I'm cooking and canning, instead of using an apron.

Biz has been in the business for over 30 years and its a pretreater and booster and it will help keep clothes looking clean when you follow these 3 steps:
1. apply biz directly to stain, 2. rub in gently and wait 3-5 min and 3. wash as usual before it dries with an effective detergent.
From the tips and tricks–Biz can be activated by mixing with water and then used as a pre-soak for as long as overnight.

Pre-treating with Biz liquid is very easy and takes only about 5 minutes.

The worst stains we have are on my grandson's work clothes–he is a forge operator and that is a filthy job. Have to do a couple of pre-washes with grease cutters and then the general wash just to get them clean. Nothing so far has done anything about the stains.

My daughter stains everything!! I need a good detergent that will take out tough stains!
Ugh, blood and chocolate seem to be my worst nightmares. I've been treating them w/ Oxyclean which helps, but I'm one of those that finishes a load in the morning, so I'd love this product!

My toughest stains would be food stains from napkins, because I use real napkins. Lipstick is the worst, I think.
Would love to try your Biz. I go through a ton of Spray and Wash. (just bought some this morning.) Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Thanks for having the giveaway!
I have the toughest time with food stains, my son is constantly getting food on his shirts and whether its ketchup, grease, or juice, it always leaves a mark. 🙁

Tell me the types of stains that you have the toughest time getting out of your clothes and what your method is for fighting tough stains:
I have a tough time with mud on athletic pants. I usually spray it with a stain remover, and wash as usual.
cdziuba@aol.com My email is easily seen in my profile
Coffee stains and chocolate milk are the most frequent stains on my laundry. I usually rub dish washing liquid into the stains before washing. It works well most of the time.

The stain that I have the most trouble with is oil and grease. My sons like to work on cars, motorcycles, you name it and it is oily and greasy and they work on it. I have tried all kinds of thing to get out the stains and Simple Green really works!
