(Giveaway!) Bug Smarties: Insect-Repelling Children’s Clothing Line

June 23, 2015 · by Tiffany Merritt · 79 Comments

Samples provided for review purposes. All thoughts and opinions are my own, as always.

Last weekend my family got to experience one of the most incredible aspects of the part of the country where we live: the great outdoors!

one step ahead insect shield clothing 1

Isn’t nature just incredible? So lush and green and quiet.

Well…almost quiet. The only sound you hear besides the water is the bugs. The kind that are super eager to bite you. Yuck.

That’s the down side to where I live: the South has more than it’s fair share of biting insects like mosquitoes and ticks. This is one of the reasons why I was never really much into spending a lot of time outside growing up. I also didn’t have surroundings like the one above, though.

Additionally, we certainly didn’t have Bug Smarties, which is the insect-repellent clothing line from One Step Ahead. Have you heard of it? This is an entire line of play-friendly clothing for kids with build-in insect protection. The clothing is lightweight and perfect for outside play.

one step ahead insect shield 2

When you consider that Lyme disease cases average about 300,000/year (!!!!) you have simply GOT to take preventative care seriously before you head out into the forest. These clothes can be washed roughly 70 times (which is the anticipated life span of an article of clothing, anyway) before losing their insect repellent capabilities.

I most definitely don’t want my children to have the same aversion to spending time outside as I did, and having a plan for preventing bug bites is a big part of that. My girls were very comfortable and happy in their Bug Smarties outfits, and I certainly felt more relaxed knowing that they were having a great experience and getting to see sights like this:

one step ahead 3

I’m happy to report that they didn’t have a single bite on themselves when the hike was over!

You can find the entire line of Bug Smarties apparel here, which comes in sizes 2T-7/8. I think you’ll find it to be very reaonsably priced!

Giveaway:

One lucky Stuff Parents Need reader will win 1 in stock top and bottom of your choice from Bug Smarties!

(Giveaway!) How To Store Big Collections of Smaller Toys

June 11, 2015 · by Tiffany Merritt · 1 Comment

Product sample provided for review purposes. All thoughts and opinions are my own, as always.

Isn’t it funny how the smallest toys can create the biggest messes, sometimes? In our home, LEGOS are a primary culprit, as are smaller stuffed animals (each one is tiny, but I bet we have 60 of them between the two girls!).

If your child has a larger collection of a particular line of smaller toys (DUPLO, Barbies, Ninja Turtles, etc.) then you have likely been investigating toy storage options. We’ve been trying out the toy storage bag from Bow Tiger and I think it has some good advantages!

We have been using the 60 inch storage bag, as I think that is a great size for siblings to use (it also comes in 40 inch or 20 inch, and in red or blue, as pictured below). Check out how big the play area is!

bow tiger toy torage bag 1

When I first unfolded the Bow Tiger toy storage holder, I was a little surprised by how lightweight and thin the material was. For this reason, I wouldn’t use it on a rough surface like concrete, but would instead limit it to  indoor play. On the plus side, the light material makes it much easier for young kids to move around on their own, and that has been a good thing, as I have seen the kids drag out their bag of DUPLO blocks all on their own (and put them away, too!).

bow tiger toy storage bag 2

My feet have been grateful that during a DUPLO session the kids seem to keep almost all of the blocks within the circle. I think even they realize that this makes for super easy cleanup. Speaking of which, here’s what the bag looks like when you pull on its strings:

bow tiger toy storage 3

We have a taller box-like storage bin that has been housing the blocks. The box takes up less space in the house, plain and simple, and so at first I thought I was going to prefer the box. But after having this toy storage bag for a week, I have noticed something very important: my girls seem to want to play with their blocks much more often now that they are in this bag. I’m not sure if it’s because they don’t have to dump everything out of the box first (and therefore, have to put all the blocks back into the box later) or what, but the difference is significant. Aesthetically and space-wise, it’s not my favorite, but it is very effective at ensuring that my girls actually play with the toys that they have, and that’s worth something!

How do you currently store these types of toys that tend to scatter during play? Are you looking for a new storaage idea?

Win it!: One lucky Stuff Parents Need reader is going to win a Bow Tiger Toy Storage Bag (ARV $70!).

(Giveaway!!) Summer Time Means Family Play Time! Playdate Ideas for The Whole Family!

May 28, 2015 · by Tiffany Merritt · 115 Comments

This post brought to you by Quaker Oats. The content and opinions expressed below are that of Stuff Parents Need.

School has been out for my kids for a week and a half, now. We spent a week of that time at the beach, and have only been hanging out at home for 3 full days Any guesses how many times I have heard, “Mom! I’m bored!”?

The answer is TOO MANY TIMES. I’ve had to explain to my kiddos that boredom is actually the birthplace of imagination, so it’s good to be bored. But I’ve also discovered that in many cases, that plea of boredom is a thinly veiled disguise for a request for me and/or their dad to play with them. And playing with my kids is honestly something that I need to remember to do more often.

Quaker Chewy understands the needs for families to play together, so when they reached out to ask me to talk about getting adults and kids to play together this summer, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to put together a playdate that was for kids and adults alike.

We were recently with all of the cousins on my husband’s side of the family, a fun group of 7 girls and one baby boy. Since we all live so far away from each other, we only get together every other year, which makes our time together very precious. Every adult wants to get to spend special time with each of the kids, and play is one of the very best ways to do that. Here are a few key tips I have for making a playdate inter-generational, and not strictly for the kids.

Find a Larger Space

photo quaker alternate 5_zpsbavf9u7d.jpg We were fortunate to have access to a very large back yard that was fenced in and even had a grove area, as well as a huge open space for running. A larger park or green space can work in a similar way. I found that giving people lots of room to run around meant that lots of running around actually happened, and it provided enough space for kids and adults to participate in different activities at the same time, just depending on their interest. But the big space certainly didn’t keep the kids from gathering near each other, as Uncle Tim experienced!

Provide Yummy Snacks (and Don’t Hide in the Kitchen!)

 photo quaker 2_zpswxsiiet1.jpg

It’s well-known that food brings people together, so be sure to have a snack assortment that is pleasing to the eye AND to the body! I put this tray of Quaker® Chewy® Granola Bars (with 8 grams of whole grains per bar) and fresh fruits and veggies together in just 3 minutes and it was a huge hit. I wasn’t stuck in the kitchen making food while everyone else was hanging out, and I felt good about what I was serving. I had a variety of Quaker Chewy Granola Bars (Chocolate Chip, Chocolate & Salted Caramel and Caramel Popcorn Crunch) so everyone could pick their favorites.

So what did the kids think about the snacks? Well, just look at their reaction to being told it was time to refuel!

 photo quaker 3_zpsmltziimk.jpg

Games: A Little Planning Goes a LONG Way

I fully admit that my personality type would feel comfortable scheduling out a playdate in 15 minute increments, and then drilling right through that list. This is not a strategy I would recommend, though! Kids need the freedom to spend more or less time on activities, depending on their moods and interest. Something as simple as a flower they find might entertain them for 30 minutes, as it did for one of my neices. I couldn’t have planned that, I assure you!

photo quaker alternate 4_zpsxaldkadu.jpg Still, it’s good to have some interesting options on hand and not leave the playdate entirely up to the kids to figure out. I recommend having a few new items offered up so that every child and every adult can have the fun experience of playing with something new. Look for items that promote active play, such as a cool new ball (go for something unusual, like the one pictured below), a bubble machine, or might I even suggest a stomp rocket? photo quaker 1_zpsx24x0zmh.jpg Each of these items was played with by everyone, but the stomp rockets stole the show. The children couldn’t resist, and neither could the grown ups. I suppose it brought out the kid in each of us! photo quaker alternate 3_zps5edmddot.jpg

Don’t Put the Snacks Out Right Away

I know from experience that when snacks are presented first thing at a playdate, it tends to slow everything down. Kids and adults will gravitate toward the food, and the adults, in particular, might struggle to get out of their chairs once they are comfortably seated. At least that’s how I am! The kids will also be back in an hour asking for more snacks, I promise! Save the snacks for the midway point or beyond, once everyone has worked up an appetite. Let the snacks be fuel for round 2 of play instead of a stumbling block to get to round 1.

Expecting? Win Your Entire Registry Thanks to Fisher-Price and Babies “R” Us!

May 5, 2015 · by Tiffany Merritt · Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fisher-Price. All opinions are 100% mine.

Today is my little sister’s due date with her first child. It is such an exciting milestone that she has reached (though as I recall, it doesn’t exactly “feel” awesome to be 40 weeks pregnant). We are all on pins and needles waiting for little Taralynn to make her debut.

And my sister, Laura, is perhaps the most eager of them all, since Taralynn’s arrival will mean that she isn’t pregnant anymore! Yay!!!! 🙂

But while she waits for the baby to be ready, she can entertain herself by entering to win the awesome registry giveaway sponsored by Babies “R” Us and Fisher-Price®. From now until May 12th, anyone with a registry at Babies “R” Us (or anyone who makes a registry during that time) can be entered to win simply by adding at least $200 of awesome Fisher-Price® items to the registry. If you haven’t yet set up a registry, they are a breeze to do online or in the store. Need a few suggestions for what to add to your list? No problem!

undefined

Our oldest slept MUCH better with some white noise playing in her nursery, so that’s a must in my book.

undefined

And our youngest cooed and giggled constantly in her bouncer. It was highly entertaining to her! I’m loving this version, the Fisher-Price® Rose Chandelier Deluxe Bouncer.

And for our youngest, we simply would not have made it without the swing. For a while there, that’s the ONLY place she would take a nap. I would have given up my car before giving up that swing!

undefined

The Fisher-Price™ April Registry Sweepstakes is still taking entrants, so be sure to get those “must-have” items added to your list. And be sure your list has everything else you can think of, too, because the winner will get EVERYTHING (up to $3,500 in merchandise!). Woah!

I’m crossing my fingers for you, little sister! But for everyone out there reading this, Fisher-Price is most definitely going to be choosing a winner; why shouldn’t it be you? If you aren’t expecting and know someone who is, do them a favor and tell them about this sweepstakes opportunity!

6 Vacuums Later, We’ve Found a Winner (Giveaway!!!)

May 4, 2015 · by Tiffany Merritt · 29 Comments

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #CleaningUntangled #CollectiveBias

So I’m just 5 days shy of my 13th wedding anniversary, friends. THIRTEEN YEARS!!! My marriage is officially a teenager, so I guess that means that hormone-induced fits of rage are just right around the corner for us! 😉

Just kidding. We act like total “old marrieds” now. And in our bakers dozen years of marriage, we have learned quite a few things about what works for our home and what doesn’t. Today I want to share with you what I’ve learned about what I need in a vacuum. I have been through 5 different types of vacuums over past 13 years (canister, upright, bagged, bag-less, robot, fancy brand, etc.).

eureka 2

This weekend we welcomed vacuum number 6. And this is the vacuum, I think, that actually “gets” us. It’s the Eureka Brushroll Clean™ with SuctionSeal® and so far, it seems to have answers to all of the problems we have encountered with our previous vacuums.

#1: Dealing with Hair

You guys, I shed like a cat. And speaking of cats, we have 2 of them (one is long-haired and one is medium haired…both shed like…well…you know…). We also have two little girls with full heads of hair (one who wishes to rock the Rapunzel look) and my husband is a lucky man, because he, too, has a head full of hair! So…yeah, we’re a hairy house. Tufts of hair float around here like it’s the Wild West and they are the tumbleweeds.

Sure, previous vacuums have sucked up the hair. Well, sort of. What actually happens is that the hair gets stuck in the roller brushes, and then we have to remember to clean them out because otherwise it impacts how well the vacuum works, overall. So every month or so, we have to give our vacuums a hair cut. Gross.

eureka 1

This is our old vacuum only a few weeks after it’s latest “haircut.”

Check out what the Eureka Brushroll Clean™ with SuctionSeal® is rockin’. It has a self-cleaning brushroll. With the push of a button, your brushroll can de-shed itself and you can go on about your cleaning business, all without having to take that extra time to clean your device that is supposed to be doing all the cleaning. Well played, Eureka.

eureka 6 #2 Scattering Small Debris

Ok, so I think this was the most shocking thing about our “fancy pants” vacuum: if it encountered very lightweight debris (teeny scraps of paper, for example) it scattered almost as much of the stuff on the floor as it picked up. So it took twice as long to vacuum those areas, and in the end, it was still only half as good as it should have been. Often times we just left the vacuum alone and reached for the broom.

This vacuum, however, has a suction seal. When the vacuum is running, this yellow part you see below is right up against the floor, creating a barrier so that little flying particles can’t escape the wrath of the vacuum. That. Is. Awesome.

eureka 4

#3: Hardwood AND Carpet? Not Happening

One of our vacuums in the past was AMAZING on carpet, but TERRIBLE on hardwood. And we’ve had a vacuum with the opposite strengths. There was a several year-long stretch in my marriage where we had to use two separate vacuums to get our floors cleaned every time we vacuumed. That mess stopped dead in its tracks once we had our first child and the space in our home had a new premium thanks to all that baby gear. Our time became worth more, too. So we ditched one of the vacuums and just had floors that didn’t look as clean. It was kind of rough, friends.

eureka 5

See that button above? All you have to do is give it a push while you are vacuuming and the brushroll will turn off, or turn on. This makes it effortless to transition from carpet to hardwood. Our entire downstairs is hardwood with large rugs on top, so this feature is pretty much the best thing ever. With our old vacuum, we’d have to stop vacuuming and make adjustments to the settings of the vacuum. And let’s be honest…I rarely took the time to do that, which of course meant that my floors didn’t look as good as they could have. Now I just have this awesome button to get the job done, and I don’t even have to pause my work.

#4 Frequency of Vacuum TLC

One of our vacuums had a debris storage compartment that was so small that we had to stop and empty it out in the middle of one single vacuuming session. This is both a testament to the amount of hair that we really do have at home, as well as to the ridiculous design concept of that particular model. I believe the engineers of that one just honestly forgot that their awesome robot was supposed to clean something.

I immediately noticed the size of the canister that holds all the debris in this vacuum and I was impressed. We can get through 2 full sessions of vacuuming before we need to dump it, and since it is bag-less, disposing of all that debris takes mere seconds, which I love! And as we mentioned earlier, the amount of time we have to spend cutting hair out of the brush roll is nonexistent, which rocks!

eureka 3

Where to Find This Fabulous Vacuum

The Eureka Brushroll Clean™ with SuctionSeal® is, in my opinion, very fairly priced at $199 (I don’t want to talk about how much the fancy pants vacuum cost…), and you can find it at your nearest Walmart location or at Walmart.com. We are very pleased so far with this vacuum because it seems to have anticipated our concerns and addressed them all. What problems do you think this vacuum might solve for your family?

 Win It!

Buying a vacuum that solves the problems other vacuums can’t is awesome. But what’s even more awesome is WINNING the vacuum that solves all these problems! Somebody is going to win the Eureka Brushroll Clean™ with SuctionSeal® and that somebody could be you! Might I also mention that someone is going to win a HOME MAKEOVER??? You can only win if you enter! Hop to it, friends!

Got a Mess on Your Hands? Of Course You Do, So Stock and Save (Giveaway!)

April 13, 2015 · by Tiffany Merritt · 128 Comments

The Walmart gift cards and information have been provided by P&G. All thoughts and opinions are strictly my own. All messes are those of my little toilet-paper hogging resident artists.

If you have little ones in your house, then I’m guessing that you also have toilet paper hogs running amuck. The truth about how much toilet paper one needs during a typical potty session is a matter of much debate around here. My children seem to have reached a very different conclusion than mine, and so, I find myself running out of toilet paper frequently.

walmart stock up and save 1

Fortunately for me, Walmart is currently running a Stock and  Save event on a variety of great P&G products, including the Charmin rolls that equate to 72 standard rolls of toilet paper. Boom! Now through April 30th you can find some great savings at your nearest Walmart on all of the following products:

  •        Tide Liquid Laundry Detergent
  •          Tide Simply Clean and Fresh Liquid Laundry Detergent
  •          Charmin Ultra Soft or Ultra Strong Toilet Paper
  •          Bounty Mega Roll Select-A-Size Paper Towels
  •          Luvs Super Absorbent Diapers
  •          Pampers Swaddlers Huge Pack
  •          Tampax Pearl Plastic, Super Absorbency
  •          Always Ultra Thin Long Super Unscented Pads
  •          Always Discreet Maximum Underwear
  •          Always Discreet Moderate Regular Length Pads

I also made a point to get some Tide and some Bounty on account of all the art happenings around here. We’ve been working on a new art center for the girls (post forthcoming!) and the good news is that their art supplies are getting used a whole heck of a lot more! The bad news is that there more mess to clean up after all those creative sessions.

walmart stock and save 2

Big messes are no problem, now! I should have enough paper towels to last me through the summer, and my girls will be home more often than not over those months, so that’s really saying something!

So before your next big mess or your next toilet paper emergency, be sure to head over to Walmart to get stocked up on great products for a great price. Your future self will thank you!

Win it!: One lucky Stuff Parents Need reader is going to win a $25 Walmart gift card! Woo hoo!

Panda Express Chinese Spare Ribs: My Thoughts After Trying This New Menu Item (Giveaway!)

April 9, 2015 · by Tiffany Merritt · 116 Comments

This post brought to you by Panda Express. The content and opinions expressed below are that of Stuff Parents Need.

So as you know, Panda Express has launched a menu item that marries together my two favorite types of cuisine: Chinese food and barbecue. The Panda Express Chinese Spare Ribs are only available for a limited time, which obviously meant that I needed to go try them out RIGHTTHISVERYSECOND. I gathered my crew for the earliest possible time we could all get together (5-year-olds can have surprisingly busy schedules, you know) and we made our way over.

 photo panda express 4_zps7cjkgryg.jpg

When we arrived at Panda Express, we realized that we were not the only ones “in the know” about this totally awesome new menu item. There were 7 people in line ahead of us! Then I looked over at the “online order” pickup area…just one incredible smart individual stood there, picking up his order (which was no doubt full of those Chinese Spare Ribs). Learn from my mistake, friends, and Order Online the next time you want to go to Panda Express. Even if you want to dine in, it will save you some time and ensure that you don’t have to watch 4 of the 7 people in front of you order exactly what you want and break out into a sweat, fearful that your culinary dreams will not be fulfilled.

I may have REALLY wanted to try those ribs. Just sayin’.

But there was no cause for concern, as Panda Express had anticipated the mad rush of people who would fall in love with this item. They had plenty of Chinese Spare Ribs on hand, and I got to place my order. It took some serious restraint to photograph them before eating them, as they smelled just as good as they looked.

 photo panda express 3_zpsyjivb6zu.jpg

The flavors were totally awesome (it’s a marinade of sesame oil, mirin, red chil bean paste, garlic and red peppers) and the meat was very tender, thanks to the 5 hour slow-cooking process.

 photo panda express 2_zps21t33t1l.jpg

Tim ordered the Chinese Spare Ribs, too, because OBVIOUSLY that is the item that cannot be denied on the menu right now! We got teriyaki chicken for the girls, and they liked it, but very quickly started asking to try the Chinese Spare Ribs, which honestly surprised me. And of course, they liked it, too! Even Nathan from WannaBite.com has great things to say about these yummy ribs!

If you want to find out more about Panda Express dishes, visit them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. And don’t forget to check out their Pinterest page for some great DIY ideas!

Smoky Mountains Weekend Getaway at Hidden Mountain Resort (GIVEAWAY!!!)

February 5, 2015 · by Tiffany Merritt · 119 Comments

Special thanks to the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce for hosting my family for the weekend. All thoughts and opinions are my own, as always.

Over the last week I’ve shown you fun things to do in Sevierville, as well as great places to eat in Sevierville. Now I want to show you THE place to stay during a trip to the Smoky Mountains.

Let me introduce Hidden Mountain Resort. This is a glorious little community of cottages and cabins in a remote area so that you feel far away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. And yet, I was also very pleasantly surprised that I could reach the main drag of Sevierville and ALL that fun stuff to go see and do in just 5 minutes flat. Hidden Mount Resort homes are perfectly situated to give you the best of both worlds: seclusion and easy access to all the fun!

hidden mountain 5

We stayed in cabin #4129, Mountain Dove (every home has a fun name, which I love!). When we arrived my husband and my in-laws, who were traveling with us, were positively SHOCKED at how gorgeous this home was. I was honestly a little confused by their dismay, and then I learned that their assumption was that staying in a “cabin” would be rustic and perhaps even mildly uncomfortable.

hidden mountain 4

Clearly they didn’t get the memo about what Hidden Mountain Resort homes are like! I suppose I had the advantage because I visited the website before we went. I knew it was going to be spectacular! 🙂

hidden mountain 2

I just can’t say this enough, friends: if you are traveling with kids or with a larger-than-average group (such as having your in-laws with you) then staying in a house is leaps and bounds more comfortable than staying in a hotel. And you just might be shocked by how comparable the cost is to having to book a few hotel rooms. This particular cabin rents for $350/night. It has 3 bedrooms. If you had 2 different families splitting the bill, that would be $175/night per family and instead of having to hole up in a tiny room, you have an entire GORGEOUS home. It’s honestly a no-brainer!

hidden mountain 1

My children had an absolute blast exploring all the fun that there is to be had in Sevierville. But they also made a point of asking to “go back home” and they weren’t talking about Chattanooga…they were talking about Hidden Mountain!

hidden mountain 7

With that garden tub and a little bubble bath on hand, can you really blame them???

hidden mountain 6

As for the grownups, we enjoyed getting to have some time to relax in the hot tub on the deck, and of course, we made good use of the fire, which was gas and turned on with the flick of a switch!

hidden mountain 3

Our Hidden Mountain Resort home was very spacious, very pristine, and very comfortable. Everyone had plenty of room to stretch out and relax. And while hit up quite a few restaurants on our particular trip, the next time we come to Hidden Mountain (oh trust, there will be a next time!) we’ll make use of the kitchen, which will actually help us save money on the vacation and ensure that we have food on hand that our little picky eaters will actually eat. 🙂

I also loved that while I had all of the benefits of staying in a house on this vacation, I ALSO had some of the benefits you expect when you stay in a hotel, such as 24 hour front desk service and the ability to switch out my linens if I so desired. The house also had a washer and dryer. Laundry wasn’t on my intended list of things to do during the weekend, but my youngest had a potty accident (such is life with a toddler, right?!) and boy was I glad to have that machine on hand so that I didn’t have to haul stinky, dirty laundry back home with me. Imagine how useful that would be for week-long vacations, too!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Hidden Mount Resort. They have many different cabins at various price points and of various sizes to accommodate a wide variety of budgets and needs. I can’t wait to go back.

And true story: just this morning I was reminiscing with my kids about our trip to Disney World back in November. My oldest said, “Yeah Disney was fun, but when are going back to Sevierville and that pretty cabin?” Sevierville and Hidden Mount Resort, that is the highest praise from my daughter, who loves all things Disney with all of her heart!

Win it!:

One lucky Stuff Parents Need reader is going to win a 2-night stay at Hidden Mountain Resort in a 2-bedroom home, cabin #4068 (and a few attraction passes, too!). Please note: while Facebook doesn’t allow us to require you to like our pages, please keep in mind that your “likes” help keep the blog running and help make amazing giveaways like this possible! We appreciate your support!

Thanks to Lush Decor for sponsoring today’s amazing giveaway. All thoughts and opinions are my own, as always.

Head’s up all you folks out there who might be looking for some fresh new home decor textiles. I’ve got a site you simply MUST see because the products are very posh and the pricetags are more suited to those of us on a budget (like me!).

Take a moment to look around at LushDecor.com. This is a young company with employees who are super excited to bring “inspired” designs to the public at prices that are reasonable. I have seen SO many things on this site that remind me of picturesque rooms I have pinned on Pinterest or seen in magazines but that I knew before even looking that I could never afford. This stuff I actually CAN afford, so I, for one, am thrilled to have learned about the site (so thrilled, in fact, that I’ve already made a purchase!).

Bedding

I ordered this Lux 6-piece bedding set a few days ago and can’t wait for it to show up! The price point was sort of insane for what you get, and I thought it would be such a breath of fresh air in my room come March or April when spring is in the air and I’m ready to lighten the mood in the house.

They have TONS of other beautiful sets, too (even items for youth!). So be sure to check it out.

Shower Curtains

And just this morning I decided to go for this pretty Esme shower curtain. Our old one is torn and it’s time to replace it. The look of this one is so pretty and the price is DEFINITELY right! 🙂

Window Treatments

There are so many gorgeous window treatments on this site, but my personal favorite is the Royal Glimmer Window Curtain. These are actually black out panels, which is very useful. They also just look like something you would spend $90/panel for. Loving that $30 price tag!

Additionally, don’t forget to look through the clearance section of the website. It is LOADED with gorgeous pieces and the mark downs are generous. This is such a fun place to not only window shop, but also to actually shop, because the prices are so good!

Check Out with Amazon

I thought this was a super cool feature of LushDecor.com: you can check out on their website using your Amazon credentials! Most people already shop through Amazon, so this makes it extra convenient. It also provides some peace of mind because in today’s world it can be a little scary to shop at a new-to-you website for the first time. No need to worry with this site, friends! Your financial information gets handled all through the Amazon system. Love it!

Coupon!

Once you’ve looked around on the Lush Decor website, I think you’ll agree with me that their prices are absolutely amazing, already. But just for fun, let’s knock off another 10%! Use coupon code PARENT01 at checkout, and you’ll save an additional 10% on your purchase! Woo hoo!

Win it!:
